In the upcoming autumn, the “2014 New Products and Technology Exchange Meeting” held by Hanhe in order to promote national industrial development, optimize Hanhe service capabilities, strengthen the Hanhe brand of charm; was celebrated in Qingdao International Horticultural Exposition Holiday Hotel on 23th August. Nearly one hundred domestic authoritative experts, customers and leaders were invited. They came from National Grid Economic and Technology Research Institute, National Grid Bid Evaluation expert group, Electric power Research Institutes, Power Company and leading enterprises in the industry from different cities and provinces. Zhang Huakai, Chairman of the Board, Xu Hongwei, General Manager, Chen Peiyun, Chief Engineer, Xian Fuquan, Deputy General Manager and Technology-related personnel attended the meeting. Xu presided over the meeting.
      Firstly, Zhang gave a welcome speech. He thanked them for their coming and  selfless help and guidance they gave at Hanhe’s development. He reported on several major tasks completed by Hanhe in the first half year: 1. Zhoushan 200kV DC flexible submarine cable has been running successfully. 2. Great length of 500kV high-voltage cables successfully energized. 3. 300kV XLPE cables were supplied successfully to Kuwait. 4. We won the "Best Global Supplier Progress Award" from the Australian company Rio Tinto. 5. Our subsidiary, Huadian high-voltage Electric Co., LTD, got the outsourcing project of Qingdao Electrical Power Company 6. We established “Hanhe Electric Power Design Company” and took a stake in Fujian Engineering Consulting Co., LTD. In the future, we insist on the production of cable as main business, develop high-end products and take service and internationalization as our new growth point. In the fierce market competition, we must strive to improve economies of scale. The experts here have good R&D projects. As the preferred technology platform, Hanhe National Engineering Technology Center hopes to provide services and assistance for everyone. We wish that we can develop together.       Chief Engineer, Chen Peiyun, reported on the technical development and planning of Hanhe in recent years. Engineers, Zhang Haitao, Liu Yanzhuo, Ju Zirui, Li Weihong, Zhao Xinyuan, Dun Jianfeng of Technical Department, and Deputy Chief of Huadian, Qu Jian, made presentation and explanation separately of 500kV cable and accessory, insulation extruded DC cable, medium strength aluminum and conductors, aluminum cable, solid aluminum cable. 
      Finally, Xu gave the closing statement and expressed the appreciation to the experts and leaders for their coming. The meeting ended perfectly and it broadens and strengthens the bridge and link of long-term cooperation among Hanhe, national electricity grid system and other electric users. 

      The conference successfully held is of great significance and it is the major event this year. The meeting not only laid Hanhe's leadership position in the cable industry, but also has fully demonstrated that China had taken a major step in the development process in the cable industry. This is the company’s pride and the whole industry’s grand occasion. Hanhe will hold the spirit “Credit, Quality, Efficiency and Innovation”, continue to strengthen the independent innovation and pay attention to high-end production.
